Bath time buddies

Not going to lie, we all love bath time. Well I do anyway, you can’t beat the splashing and giggles and fun that occurs around 6.45 each night. The perfect end to however stressful a day it’s been.

Recently I’ve been checking out the Aldi Baby & Toddler event, in particular I quickly snapped up one of their Snuggle Nest’s for our impending arrival. I’ve been after a sleepyhead for a while but couldn’t justify the rather extortionate price tag when it’s my third child. It’s a bit different if it’s for number one and you might have aanother one after – at least you’ll get good value out of your £160 purchase. We never had anything like this when my youngest was born, the poddle pod was around but few took to it so at £20 for what looks like a comfortable alternative to a moses basket for the day I am more than happy to give it a whirl. Will keep you posted on how the little one likes it when he/she arrives!

So while I was out and about buying snuggle nest’s I found some fantastic Nuby bath toys also in the Baby & Toddler Event. A sort of fishing game for my youngest and a rattle ball that can be used in and out of the water and some sealife shapes for the elder one. They both loved them and I was quite excited about teaching my 19 month old how to say octopus and crab only she repetitively called the shark and whale a ‘fishy’.

I can’t complain. Bathtime last night was a ball, I was soaked but the girls loved their new toys and at a fraction of the price it was happy families all round. We all love a good bargain and the Aldi Baby & Toddler event is no exception for snapping up some fantastic products at great prices. They have enverything from snacks to bottle teats to bath toys and so much more.

I’m definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for the next one.
